Les Bon Amis is a recovery and resource center for persons with severe and persistent mental illness. It provides for a safe and stigma free place for education, recreation and socialization. The recovery and resource center improves the quality of life for mental health consumers by promoting personal empowerment and recovery. The center is located at 616 Stewart Street, Lafayette, LA 70501 and is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM.
We further the community’s understanding of the agencies we serve, the services they provide and the needs of the communities receiving these services. Through a variety of fund development activities and through the donation of goods and services, we help meet the needs of others referred by State Agency partners, including the Office of Behavioral Health, Acadiana Area Human Services District and Department of Children and Family Services.
